JTA (Joint Treatment & Alignment) is a muscle-based stabilization method developed in Japan.
Rather than manipulating joints directly, it aims to restore natural movement and stability by improving the balance between the stabilizing muscles that support the body.
The method focuses on movement patterns and muscular coordination, evaluating physical discomfort and dysfunction from the perspective of the body as a whole.
Developers
JTA was developed in Japan by Dr. Hirohide Sasagawa and Dr. Nobu Morishita.
For many years, both have been actively involved in educating the public about physical function and body mechanics, with a combined social media following exceeding three million people.
Recognition
The JTA system has been featured in major media, including:
• The Wall Street Journal (U.S. edition)
• Newsweek Japan
• Nikkei
• Yahoo News
In addition, Dr. Hirohide Sasagawa has presented the principles of JTA at TEDx.
Application at CharLet Body
At CharLet Body, the principles of JTA serve as one of the foundations of our approach.
Each session is tailored to the individual's condition, goals, and movement patterns through personalized assessment and support.
We emphasize stability, movement quality, and long-term body management rather than temporary symptom-focused care.
